Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Devmojos processes when you visit this website or contact us, why we process it, and the rights you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed; if anything is unclear, write to us.
Who is responsible
Devmojos is the controller for the data described here.
Devmojos · Lisbon, Portugal · info@devmojos.com
What we collect, and when
This website has no accounts, no contact forms and no tracking pixels. Data reaches us in three ways:
- When you email us: your name, email address, the content of your message and any attachments you choose to send.
- When you browse: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) for security and reliability. We do not combine these logs with other data to identify you.
- In your browser: your cookie choice, stored locally on your device, which never leaves your browser and is not sent to us; and one security cookie set by our hosting provider’s network (see “Cookies and local storage”).
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and discuss a possible project — steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to people who write to us (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the website secure and available — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To remember your preferences on this device — your choice, expressed through the cookie notice and the controls on the site.
Cookies and local storage
We currently set no advertising or analytics cookies. Two strictly necessary values are kept in your browser:
- dm-consent — your answer to the cookie notice, so we do not ask again (local storage).
- __cf_bm — a security cookie set by our hosting provider’s network (Cloudflare, on DigitalOcean) to tell visitors from automated bots. It lasts 30 minutes and is not used for tracking or advertising.
- Language — kept in the page address (for example /pt/…), not in storage.
If we ever add analytics, it will be off by default and only switched on if you accept it in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Who else sees your data
Our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf under contracts that bind them to confidentiality and security. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Links to LinkedIn, X and client websites open in a new tab. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we do not control what they collect.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Our providers may store data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers rely on European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry emails: for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up, and afterwards only where a legal or contractual obligation requires it.
- Server logs: for the short period our hosting provider needs for security, then deleted or anonymised.
- Local preferences: until you clear them in your browser or change them on the site.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive a copy of data you provided to us in a portable format. Write to info@devmojos.com and we will respond within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), or with the authority in the country where you live.
Children
This website is addressed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes, such as adding analytics, will also be announced through the cookie notice.
